Overview: Maple Bank is a neo-bank expanding into a new market. Built by a three-person team, the Sprout app helps young adults start investing confidently through simple, index-fund focused experiences.

Problem:
New investors feel overwhelmed by financial jargon, charts, and unclear onboarding. They need clarity, small steps, and explanations.

Personas:
• Green Ginni — Financial beginner, needs plain language and guided support.
• Lavish Lawrence — Confident planner, wants transparency and clean data.

My Role: Research synthesis → Personas → Journeys → Flows → UI → Prototype

Key design moves:

• Guided onboarding with simple "why this matters" explanations
• Goal-based setup with clear projections
• A focused, privacy-first dashboard
• Maple Academy learning system (badges, progress, micro-lessons)
• Clean "Explore funds" with essentials only (fees, details, returns)

Outcome:
A calmer, transparent investing experience that helps beginners understand concepts without feeling intimidated.
